Patagonian Exédition Race 2011: First team spotted heading to PC8

A team has been spotted heading towards PC8, by our Remote HQ team waiting on the beach.
This first team is now making their way down a steep 200m high bare rock cliff and is expected to check in to PC8 in about 15 minutes.
The team has trekked 9 kilometres from PC7 at Puente de Roca, climbing and crossing a high mountain pass to arrive at the Fiordo de Las Montanas, a stunning fjord and canyon.
The next kayaking leg of the Patagonian Expedition Race will take the racers through a deep canyon set between Cordillera Sarmindiento de Gamboa and Cordillera Riesco, with awesome mountain vistas.
The identity of the team cannot be confirmed at this stage.
