ANTÁRTICA: 65 years of Mawson Station

This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Mawson research station in 1954. Mawson is one of Australia's three permanent research stations in Antarctica, and is the longest continuously operating station south of the Antarctic Circle. Later this week at our Kingston headquarters, we’ll be welcoming the ANARE Club – and many former Mawson expeditioners – to celebrate our history and future.
