Peter is Principal Investigator for the 'Wildlife from Space' project, using satellite technology to identify, count and monitor different species in Antarctica and elsewhere (including emperor penguins!)
A study led by Peter using satellite mapping technology revealed there are nearly 20% more emperor penguin colonies in Antarctica than was previously thought
